People in thousands come here to show their respect to the Lord Shiva during the period of Dol Purnima and Maha Shivaratri. Geographically, this hill is located about 50 kilometeres away from Silchar town. Bus services are offered to the pilgrims from Silchar during the time of Dol Purnima and Shivaratri. One can reach a place called Panichowki by small cars. But you need to walk through a steep rise for almost four hours from Panichowki to reach the temple.
