Karimganj Medical college

Government of Assam is planning to set up a medical college in Karimganj district of south Assam. In this college, students from Karimganj and Hailakandi will be given preference.
Interestingly barak valley's only Medical College, Silchar Medical College's condition is not in good condition. Do you think this is another vote bank politics by the Tarun Gogoi government which has done nothing in the valley and there is no proper communication facilities including roads, railways etc.

Assam Education and Health Minister Mr. Himanta B. Sarma announced recently that a new medical college will be setup in Karimganj district in Assam. Don't know what will happen to this state funded college. Silchar medical college which is also a state funded college is in very bad condition.

Hi

Karimganj Medical College is still not approved by Tarun Gogoi and Barak's politicians are already taking credit about it. Nobody knows when the Karimganj Medical College will be approved by Assam Government. Health Minister Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced it last time when he visited Silchar and Karimganj.
Local minister Mr. Gautam Roy should give a proper statement regarding the fate of Karimganj Medical College.

Thanks

Karimganj Medical college which was announced by the Health Minister Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will never become a reality because CM Tarun Gogoi recently refused to say anything about the proposed college. He said he is not aware about it. Tarun Gogoi is anti-barak and he almost stopped all the development works of barak valley.
