All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT)
AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) is the entrance test organized at National Level. It is for admission for the candidates to MBBS/BDS courses in different reputed colleges of India. CBSE organizes the exam. All reputed medical and dental colleges of India provide 15% seats to AIPMT cleared candidates.

Academic qualifications for the AIPMT
The candidates that have passed higher secondary exam from the presumed institute are appropriate for the examination. Also it is necessary that they should have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) during the higher secondary education. Candidates appearing for exam or awaiting the results may also apply. However, they must bring qualifying exam certificates at time of admission.

Age for AIPMT
The candidates that want to give this exam must assure some age conditions. It is necessary that they need to have attained the age of 17 years. The upper limit of age is 25-years. Reserved categories are provided relaxation of 5 years including OBC and SC/ ST candidates.

Who can apply?
The candidates that have pursued pass in the 10+2 exams are appropriate for this exam. On the other hand exceptions are useful to candidates from the J&K and Andhra Pradesh. The domicile applicants of all these states are barred from apply in for this exam. In case, they want to give this exam, they must produce required documents, attested by the Metropolitan Magistrate or First-Class Judicial Magistrate. In addition, if they are eligible for the test, they are not qualified to take the admission in the Medical colleges of J&K and Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility for PIO/Foreign Nationals/NRI/ for AIPMT
Only the Indian citizens are qualified for the examination. Non-resident Indians are eligible also. However, they must fulfill all the necessary criterions. This entrance test is being organized exclusively for 15% of merit positions for Medical or Dental Colleges in India as given in directive of court and can be governed by rules & regulations mentioned by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, every time.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)
Space activities in India started during the early 1960s with scientific study of upper atmosphere as well as ionosphere over magnetic equator, which passes over the Thumba near Thiruvananthapuram through small sounding rockets. After realizing the enormous potential of the space technology for the national development, the visionary leader Dr. Vikram Sarabhai has predicted that this powerful technology might play a decisive role in the national development as well as solving problems of a common man.

As a result, the Indian Space program has born in church starting, space activities in country, determined on getting the self reliance as well as developing the capability of building and launching the communication satellites for telecommunications, television broadcast, meteorological applications, and remote sensing satellites to manage natural resources.

The goal of ISRO is developing space technology as well as its applications for different national tasks. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)

The AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) paper usually has 100 questions. All the questions have three marks each. To every right answer, applicant will obtain three marks and to every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted as negative marking. Total time given is two hours.

Every question paper has questions from following topics:

• General Awareness: History, Geography, Sports, Environment, Basic Science, Civics, Defense, Culture, Art, Politics, Current Affairs, etc.

• English Verbal Ability: Comprehension, Sentence Completion, Error Detection, Synonyms, Antonyms, Vocabulary Testing, etc.

• Numerical Ability: Simplification, Average, Decimal Fraction, Percentage, Profit & loss, Simple interest, and Ratio & Proportion.

• Reasoning with Military Aptitude Test: Verbal Skills with Spatial Ability.

AFCAT is the part of recently launched Unified Selection System for providing adequate opportunities to candidates, who are eligible for the multiple branches of IAF for applying through the single application. AFCAT is organized for following non-UPSC entries to induct into the Officers’ cadre in the IAF.

• Ground Duty branches
• Permanent Commission (Men)
• Short Service Commission (for Men / Women)
• Technical branch

AFCAT is introduced with the effect from the courses starting every year. First AFCAT was organized on 27th Mar 2011. Previously, the candidate need to fill up detach applications for induction to Flying, Ground Duty, and Technical branches and take part in selection process through appearing in diverse tests. Using AFCAT, the candidates may apply for diverse branches by filling only one application form, according to the eligibility and selection. AFCAT is organized for all branches. AFCAT is a two-hour duration exam, having multiple option questions on numerical ability, verbal ability, reasoning, general aptitude and awareness. Candidates selected after the Phase II of the SSB interview are given admission to following branches through definite tests based on the eligibility / selection of branches:

• PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) for the Flying branch.
• KET (Engineering Knowledge Test)

Navodaya Vidyalaya education system is very unique experiment in annals of the school education of India or elsewhere. JNVST: Entrance test based on Merit

Navodaya Vidyalayas represent their student strength through talented children, chosen based on merit test, which is called as the JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test), specially conducted, designed, and developed by the NCERT originally and now, by CBSE. This test is organized annually on All India level and also at the block & district levels. It is class neutral, objective, and specially designed to make sure that the rural children do not have any disadvantages.
