IP University B.Tech Admission Course 2017-2018

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is located at Kashmere Gate in Delhi. This university is commonly known as IP University. This was established in the year 1998 through a special act by the NCT of Delhi. This university has the recognition of the University Grants Commission. The standardization, testing and quality certification directorate of India has given ISO 9001:2000 Certification to the IP University. The National assessment and accreditation council has conferred “A” grade to this university in the year 2007. The focus of this university is to impart professional education in the field of engineering, architecture, management, technology, medicine, nursing, education, journalism etc. The IP University awards degree in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Eligibility criteria
The eligibility for B. Tech under this university is based on the common entrance exam conducted by the university. To be eligible to write this exam the candidate must have passed the 10 +2 exam of CBSE or any equivalent exam. The student must have scored 55% aggregate marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry and should also have passed in each of these subjects separately. The student must also have passed the English exam at the 10+2 level.

Admission procedure
Admission is strictly based on the merit scored by the candidate in the common entrance test conducted by the university every year. The medium of entrance test will be English. According to the merit scored in the common entrance test the name of the selected candidates will be short- listed and will be published by the university .the student will be called for counseling before admission is given.
