Jamia Hamdard University BCA Admission 2017-2018 course

The Jamia Hamdard University was established way back in 1906 and started off from the small confines of a Unani clinic run by a well-known practitioner of Unani medicine – Hakim Hafiz Abdul Majeed. This university is located in Delhi and offers various courses under all major streams and is in itself a deemed university under section 3 of University grants Commission. All courses are approved by the UGC. The university has been able to set its name in golden letters by investing intellect and research in various socially profitable programs like rain water harvesting etc. and is recognized for its excellence in both social and research sciences.

The university part from other courses also offers a BCA course and the details are as follows

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the much sought after Jamia Hamdard, Delhi BCA admission, you need to be a citizen of India and should have completed a minimum of 12 years of uninterrupted education. You need to have a +2 level certificate in pure sciences (including mathematics) and the percentage math’s score should not be less than 50%. This is a graduate level course and every year thousands of applications are received by the university for this BCA graduate course. Scoring 50% marks in mathematics at the +2 level would make you eligible for the course, but that doesn’t guarantee you admission as the competition is very high and based solely on merit. You need to have a good academic track record in order to make your entry into this course. If you want to go for post graduation in computer application – MCA, you have the option of doing it from here only as the University also offers a full time 2 years MCA course.

Admission Procedure:
Admission is based strictly on merit and you need to have secured 50% marks in mathematics in the pure science stream at the plus two level. There are no entrance tests unlike the post graduate courses.
