Bangalore University MBA/BBA Admission 2017-2018

Bangalore University was established in 1964 and has completed 40 years of fruitful existence. This University is regarded as one of the largest Universities of Asia.It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.The University has received “NAAC” accreditation with “A” grade status in 2008. It has about 656 affiliated colleges and many other directorates and centers for learning under it.The School of Business studies was started in the 2007-08 academic year. It is engaged in researches through MoU’s with 27 Universities and Institutions of international repute. The School of Business studies is located in its “Jnana Bharathi” campus.

Eligibility Criteria
Students seeking admission to the MBA program of the Universityshould have apass in the BachelorsDegree / Masters Degree examination conducted by any educational body which is recognized. Applicants can be graduates or post graduates in commerce, arts, social sciences, management, engineering or equivalent. The candidate should have secured at least 50% mark in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates the minimum aggregate is 40%. The course is of two years duration. A candidate seeking admission to the BBA program of the University will have to pass the PUC examination of the Karnataka State or should have passed 10+2 examinations with 50% aggregate marks in all subjects including English and a vernacular language.

Admission Procedure
The application forms should be correctly filled and should be submitted with required copies of the documents like mark sheet, affidavit, income and caste certificate, to the office of the co-coordinator. The chairman of the Admissioncommittee of MBA will publish the merit list of all the eligible applicants. Students from the Karnatakastate will be given preferences. Those who are in the eligible list should appear for the counseling on the specified time and place.At the time of admission, the original documents should be produced.
