Vikram University also known as Vikram Vishwavidyalaya in
Devnagari language, is an Ujjain based university.Its home city
Ujjain is well known all over world for its rich culture and
religious traditions and beliefs. The Vikram University was
established in 1957 being named after an ancient king
Vikramaditya. The then Home Minister of India Mr. Govind Vallabh
Pant laid its foundation stone.Recently, university received “A”
grade from national Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
which is second highest grade any Indian college can receive for
its overall performance.The Vikram University was established
with the goal as “To create a unique place in today’s
educational competition in India by combining and coordinating
traditional and contemporary knowledge. The university also
believes on patronizing and promoting traditional Indian
culture, arts science, heritage and literature.
All the candidates wishing to opt for MBA in distance mode must
be graduates from any recognized university in India.A candidate
must have at least 50% aggregate marks. For reserved categories
(SC/ST), relaxation in minimum marks is provided (5%).
Total 30 seats are available for part time MBA in Vikram
University. Students who have appeared final year exam of
graduation can also apply for the entrance exam of part time MBA.
The admissions for part time MBA course are carried out in
following way. Each applicant first has to give an entrance
exam, passing upon which he is eligible for the course. The
admission is given as per the merit and the merit list is
prepared using the marks obtained from entrance exam results.
The minimum requirement for marks is 50% for any students to be
eligible for entrance exam.
