Central University of Jammu and Kashmir MBA Admission 2017-2018

The Central University of Kashmir was formerly known as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. The university came into existence in March 2009 and Prof. Abdul Wahid Qureshi, a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir, was appointed as its first Vice Chancellor. Located at Ganderbal in the picturesque state of Jammu and Kashmir, the university is still under construction. Hence the classes for the MBA, M Sc I.T & MA English, the three post graduate courses that the university offers at present, is now being conducted at a transit campus since 25th August 2010. The sprawling campus that is currently constructed will have ďAĒ grade facilities for students like internet, cafeteria, health club, hostel and excellent transportation facilities.

The Central University of Kashmir offers Masters of Business Admission program, a two year Post Graduation course, focusing on areas of special interests like Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources etc. The details pertaining to post graduate MBA course is given below:

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to seek admission into the MBA program offered by the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir, a candidate will have to hold a bachelorís degree in any discipline from any recognized university or college in India with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Admission Procedure:
The following are the admission procedure that is followed at the Central University of Kashmir. The eligible candidate will have to take the common entrance exam conducted in the name of Central Universities Common Entrance test (CUCET) as per the Central Universities Act of 2009. A good performance in the entrance test will aid in the candidate being called for a group discussion and final interview. Once the candidate gets through the final interview, he or she will be eligible to do the Masterís program in the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir campus.
