Best Healthy Soups for Monsoons Recipes

During monsoons, you crave for hot soups and warm drinks! Hot beverages during monsoons make you wholesome, warm and comfortable like nothing else. So don’t think much and check out some healthy soups recipes for monsoon season which are written below in the article!

Garden fresh tomato soup

Ingredients to prepare garden fresh tomato soup:
2 tbsp olive oil, ¼ cups basil, 1 ½ lbs. of ripe tomatoes (deseeded, peeled and chopped), 1chopped onion, 2 oz tomato paste, 1 crushed garlic, 4 cups of chicken or vegetable stock, 1 small chopped red pepper

Method to prepare garden fresh tomato soup:
Heat oil in pan and sauté onions, garlic and red pepper in it.
Now add tomato and cook for 10 minutes. Also add tomato paste along with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
Allow it to cool down. Now put this mixture into blender and prepare a smooth paste.
Return to pan and bring it to a boil.
Add basil leaves and cook for 2 minutes. Serve hot.

Creamy clam chowder

Ingredients to prepare creamy clam chowder:
¾ cup cubed butter, 2 sliced celery ribs, 1 chopped onion, 1 quart half-and-half cream, 3 medium chopped carrot, 3 tbsp cornstarch, 3 cans mined clams, cans undiluted condensed cream of potato soup

Method to prepare creamy clams chowder:
In saucepan, heat butter and sauté carrots, celery, onions in it. Now add potato soup and 2 cans of undrained calms to it. Drain and discard juice from cans of clams. Add calms to soup.

Add cornstarch and 1 cup of cream to give smooth consistency to soup. Stir well. Bring it to a boil and cook. Stir for 2 minutes till thick soup gets prepared. Add cream and pour soup into soup bowls. Serve hot!
