Best Healthy Bran Muffins Recipe

Muffins are basically hearty American dessert dish but they are now gaining big popularity among Indians too these days. Bran muffins are one of the healthiest varieties of muffins. Since these muffins are prepared from bran which is rich in dietary fiber, protein and essential nutrients, they are extremely healthy for your overall body, mind and soul. Healthy Bran Muffins

Ingredients to prepare healthy bran muffins:

1 cup wheat bran, ¼ tbsp ginger, 1 cup oat bran, 1 tbsp dalchini, 2 eggs, ½ cup apple sauce, ½ cup dry milk powder, 1 tbsp vanilla essence, generous amount of honey, ½ tbsp baking powder

Method to prepare healthy bran muffins:

First and foremost preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Now take muffin tray and line cups on it.
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients nicely together. Keep this mixture aside.
Now in another bowl, mix eggs, vanilla essence and apple sauce together. For preparing apple sauce, boil dry skinless apples in a bowl of water on high flame for few minutes. Mix all the three ingredients nicely for 5-6 minutes. Now add mixture of dry ingredients with this mixture and mix thoroughly so that all the ingredients mix together nicely so that no lumps are seen.
Now finally pour the prepared mixture into the muffin tray and place the tray into oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Transfer the muffins into plate and serve.
