No more worrying over weight gain due to unhealthy snacking! Check out some healthy yet interesting recipes of snacks which are written below. I am sure you all would love to eat them again and again!

Beans and cheese on toast

Ingredients to prepare beans and cheese on toast:
¼ cup cubed mozzarella cheese, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup, 2 tsp low fat butter, 4 slices brown bread, 4 lettuce leaves, ½ cup butter beans soaked overnight and boiled, ½ tsp dry red chili flakes, 2 tsp low fat butter

Method to prepare beans and cheese on toast:
Peel beans and keep them aside.
Melt butter in pan and add chili flakes to it.
Now add beans and tomato ketchup to it and stir fry for 3 minutes.
Bake the bread slices in pre-heated oven at 180 degree C for 2 minutes.
Place lettuce leaf on each slice and then spread the prepared bean mixture on it in an evenly manner.
Top the bread with diced cheese and serve.

Corn upma

Ingredients to prepare corn upma:
4tbsp oil, 1 ½ tsp salt, 1 cup semolina, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, a few curry leaves, 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 ¾ cups of water, ½ cup corn, 2 chopped green chilies, ¼ cup chopped beans

Method to prepare corn upma:
In flat glass dish, mix 3 tbsp oil and suji. Now microwave it for 2 /2 minutes. Mix it again and microwave for 2 more minutes. Now remove and keep it aside.

In another dish, add 1 tbsp oil and sauté mustard seeds in it along with curry leaves, green chilies, onions and beans. Microwave for 4 ½ minutes.

Add salt, water, lemon juice, red chili powder and corns to it. Stir continuously while adding suji to it. Microwave for 4 minutes.

Remove the cover and then microwave it for 1 ½ minutes. Serve hot.
