Its the time to provide proteins and vitamins to your body in the easiest way through the intake of healthy sandwiches. Some interesting yet healthy recipes of sandwiches are written below which I am sure you all would love to eat again and again!

Carrot and green peas sandwich

Ingredients to prepare carrot and green peas sandwich:
cup boiled and slightly mashed green peas, 4 brown bread slices (lightly buttered), 2 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 cups parboiled and finely chopped carrots, tsp cumin seeds, 2 tbsp grated cottage cheese, tsp finely chopped green chilies, salt to taste, 1 tsp oil

Method to prepare carrot and green peas sandwich:
Heat some oil in pan and saute cumin seeds in it. Now add green chilies, vegetables with cottage cheese and salt. Cook for 3 minutes.
Now spread this mixture on 2 breads evenly. Now cover the breads with other two bread slices.

Cut and serve with tomato ketchup and mint chutney.

Vegetable grilled sandwich

Ingredients to prepare vegetable grilled sandwich:
Salt to taste, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, cup shredded cabbage, 1 chopped green chili, cup grated carrots, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, cup grated cottage cheese, 8 slices of whole wheat bread, 4 tsp butter

Method to prepare vegetable grilled sandwich:
Mix all the veggies together. Season them with salt and pepper. Dont forget to add cheese and then divide the total mixture into 4 equal parts.

Place 1 portion of stuffing on 1 bread slice and top it with another slice of bread. Repeat the procedure to make 3 more breads.

Now grill the sandwiches in preheated griller after applying little butter.
Serve sandwiches with tomato ketchup and mint chutney.
