Ingredients to prepare shrimp pasta:
2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste,
1 tsp minced garlic, 1 package penne pasta, ¼ cup chopped fresh
basil, ¼ cup chopped fresh oregano, 1 diced tomato, 1 package
cream cheese, 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, salt and pepper to
taste, 1 lb.washed shrimp
Method to prepare shrimp pasta:
Add water to pot and place it on high flame. When water starts
boiling, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes. Drain.
In large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and stir fry
basil, oregano, tomato, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper to it.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Add cream cheese and shrimp. Toss with cooked pasta and serve.
Cold pasta salad
Ingredients to prepare cold pasta
1 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, ½ tsp freshly ground
black pepper, 4 crashed garlic cloves, 3 tsp fresh snipped
tarragon, 2/3 cup red wine vinegar, 3 tsp fresh snipped basil,
1lb corkscrew pasta or pasta of your choice, 2 small jars of
marinated artichoke hearts with juice, ½ cup packed freshly
grated parmesan cheese, blanched broccoli flowerets, ½ cup
slivered almonds, 1 large can of drained and sliced black
olives, blanched Chinese pea pods, ½ cup packed freshly grated
Method to prepare cold pasta salad:
Firstly cook pasta as per directions mentioned on packet.
Prepare dressing by adding basil, tarragon, garlic, oil,
vinegar, pepper and Dijon mustard together.
Now add some cold water to pasta. Drain well.
In a large bowl, add pasta. Shake the dressing and pour over
pasta. Toss nicely.
