DU Delhi University BDS Entrance Exam 2017-2018

The Delhi University organizes DUMET 2015 (Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test) for the admission of like courses BDS and MBBS every year. The application form and BOI (Bulletin of Information) is accessible from this address:

Against the Bank Draft or Banker’s Cheque of any Nationalised Bank favoring to the ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ to be paid at Delhi. The fee structure for application is like this:

• By hand against Rs. 750/- for the General as well as OBC category candidates and Rs. 550/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates No cash payment is accepted.
• By post against Rs. 800/- for the General as well as OBC candidates and Rs. 600/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates, with one self-addressed envelop having size of 12" X 10"

DU Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates should have passed the 12th class test under the 10+2 system having necessary subjects like PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) from the renowned school performing regular classes and positioned within National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates should have passed the subjects like PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) individually and should get minimum 50% (40% for the SC/ST candidates and 45% for OBC category) in total in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The candidates should have studied the 11th as well as 12th classes regularly through any recognised school located inside National Capital Territory of Delhi. The course duration for BDS are 5-years excluding Internship.

DUMET Exam Test 2015

The test paper has duration of 3 hours. The paper will have 200 questions; having 50 in every subject like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The test is of objective type. Every question carries 4 marks. For every correct answer, candidate will obtain 4 marks and for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from total score.
