Admission for the B.Ed. Programme is available for men/women from any part of the country. Some seats are given to foreign students as well. This programme is available at following colleges:

The B.Ed. Programme entails lectures, discussions, tutorials, psychology practical, school based experiences, technology awareness programme, work experience, visual education, for students with co-curricular activities having physical education. One main component of programme is SEP (School Experience Programme) that is organised in different schools in Delhi. The medium of exam is either Hindi or English for all courses. The candidate for all examinations must use the same medium.

Eligibility

Candidates desiring admissions to B.Ed. Programme for Delhi University must meet either of following eligibility criteria of being measured for the admission of the course via Entrance Test.

For Graduates:
Bachelor’s degree or other qualification accepted equivalent from the recognised university having minimum 50% in aggregate at 10+2+3/11+2+2 or having minimum 55% in aggregate at 10+2+2/11+3 with 50% in aggregate at bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects.

For Post-Graduates:
Master’s degree or other qualification famous equivalent thereto from the recognised university, or any of subject options designated in relevant subjects with minimum 50 % in aggregate with having studied minimum one subject in bachelor’s degree other than one in post-graduation.

OR

Masters degree or other qualification renowned equivalent from the recognised university with any subject having minimum 50 % in total and having studied minimum two subjects in bachelor’s degree from the relevant subject with minimum 50% in total in every of the two subjects, for which candidate will go through the Entrance Test.
