The Bharatratna, Dr.Rajendra Prasad, who was first President of Indian Republic, on January 11, 1957, laid the foundation stone of the University. Every year, the Kurukshetra University declares B.Ed results on its authorized website. The candidates may view the results on the website. Candidates have to enter the roll number, then security number in box provided on website and click on search button.

Its campus is positioned on western bank of the Brahm Sarover as well as extends over the area of more than 400 acres. Starting with merely Sanskrit Department, it has developed into the multi-faculty University and amongst the premier centres of research and advanced study in region.
