BHU BCom/MCom Courses
Founded in the year 1916 by a great visionary, a social reformer and a freedom fighter, the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is today a hub of academic excellence. The university enjoys a no.1 ranking in the survey conducted by the renowned IndiaToday-Neilsen group. The department of science is one of the core strengths of the university; however the humanities department has also achieved rare distinction for its unparalleled work. The BHU has already been accredited an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in the past. Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants of B.Com course must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) from a recognized state education board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% in marks is conceded to students from reserved category. All Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Com course should have secured a minimum score of 50% aggregate marks in the final year exam leading to a B.Com degree under the 10+2+3 pattern. However, candidates belonging to reserved category are allowed to apply if they have secured not less than 45% aggregate marks.

Foreign nationals must submit an affidavit as mentioned in the relevant sections of the prospectus.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to both the courses is done based on the merit of candidate’s score in the common entrance test conducted separately for the two courses by the BHU. Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria if they wish to secure admission to these courses.
