Annamalai University MBA Admission course
The first step of Annamalai University came into existence in
the year 1920, when Sri Minakshi College come into existence in
Chidambaram. In the year 1928, Annamalai University Act came
with Sri Minakshi College lined the way for establishment of the
Annamalai University.
MBA (Master of Business Administration)
The Annamalai University offers following full time M.B.A.
programmes for 2 years duration, separated into 4 semesters.
• M.B.A. with Dual Specialisation
• M.B.A. in Financial Management
• M.B.A. in Human Resource Management
• M.B.A. in International Business Management
• M.B.A. in Marketing Management
Eligibility
The minimum eligibility for M.B.A. is minimum 50% marks in
graduation. For SC/ST candidates, pass is a minimum
qualification.
Mode of Selection
Candidates are selected based on the performance in the
qualifying exams, entrance test, and interview. The qualifying
exam will have 250 marks, entrance test will have 200 marks with
50 marks for interview.
Interview
All the eligible candidates may be called for the interview that
they should focus on their own cost. All the original
certificates should be produced in the interview:
• Original degree certificate with mark list(s)
• Transfer and Migration Certificate at where he/she studied
last
• Medical fitness certificate
• Community certificate
The cost of the application form with prospectus for the
admission of M.B.A. is Rs.1000/-.for General and OBC category
and Rs.500/- for SC/ST students.
Reservation of Seats
Reservation of the seats for the candidates fitting in to ST/SC/OBC
communities will be done as per the rules & regulations of Tamil
Nadu Government. Amongst the exceeding reservations, 3% of are
included for the disabled persons by means of norms laid down
through the Government.
